In Empathy We Trust is a collaborative series of photographic images created by the artist duo, E2- Elizabeth Kleinveld and Epaul Julien.
The series takes aim at iconic images from art history and reimagines the works with characters of different races, genders, and identities. Through their efforts, E2 challenges many misconceptions in fine art, history, and everyday life. E2 has exhibited their work nationally and internationally. The duo is represented by Jonathan Ferrara Gallery in New Orleans.
