Capitol City Contemporary honors local and regional artists who are contributing to the vitality of the state’s current art scene.
This second annual display spotlights the age-old tradition of landscape painting. On view are recent works in both abstract and realist styles made by a dozen Baton Rouge artists: Judi Betts, Jim Burke, Sam Corso, Jill Hackney, Libby Johnson, Keith Morris, Frederick Ortner, Gaither Pope, Ed Smith, Lisa Di Stefano, Elise Toups, and Kate Trepagnier.
