The Edge of Vision: Abstraction in Contemporary Photography

On View January 18, 2014 Through April 13, 2013

Located in the Louisiana Art & Science Museum

An exciting range of contemporary photographic media by twenty international artists was presented.

Demonstrating that artists continue to use the camera to produce alternate, sometimes magical, views of reality, this exhibition contained still images, installations, and videos that questioned the meaning of photography and the role of the medium in modern visual culture. The exhibition curated by Lyle Rexer was organized by Aperture Foundation, New York.
