The Edge of Vision: Abstraction in Photography

January 19- April 14, 2013

Students will be introduced to a range of techniques, visual effects, and critical positions as they view The Edge of Vision: Abstraction in Photography. The exhibition presents photographs and photo-based installations that highlight and investigate the nature of contemporary photography. The broad range of works on exhibit is sure to inspire students’ creativity and aid them in discovering new optical possibilities as well as illicit contemplation of the role of photographs in contemporary visual culture. Curated by Lyle Rexer. Toured by Aperture Foundation.
