Forensic Crime Lab

Class Description

In this integrated learning experience, students use scientific inquiry to identify the victim and the perpetrator at a staged crime scene. They reach their conclusions via chromatography, entomology, blood typing, skeletal identification, and other means of discovery that are based on the principles of the scientific method. Requires the assistance of at least six chaperones.


Grade Level: 5-6

Use a variety of sources to answer questions (SI-M-A1)

Design, predict outcomes, and conduct experiments to answer guiding questions (SI-M-A2)
