Quilts and Geometry

Quilts and Geometry

Class Description

This delightful approach to the world of geometry introduces young students to traditional patchwork quilts, the geometric shapes that form them, and patterns. Students apply higher-order thinking skills as they manipulate and transform a simple square into individual (paper) quilt blocks for their classroom quilt.
